Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Cadillac Escalade- Video

Today, we have my buddy Ryan's 2011 Cadillac Escalade, and we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS. What does MHS mean It's a modular hitch system, so we can kinda piece this thing together however we want it. Right now we have it in the four-bike configuration, so if you do go with the four-bike, we're gonna get four different cradles. But, when it comes to the cradles, we're gonna have different weight capacities. So, the one on the end is gonna be 35. The one next to it, number three, is gonna be 35. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2011 Cadillac Escalade- Video

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer, today, on our 2011 Cadillac Escalade, we're going to be checking out the Swagman, XE2, platform-style bike rack. First impression of the rack on the back of the Escalade, really simple, you know, this is going to be able to hold down two bikes and it's to be a great kind of entry-level, economical way to carry your bikes around. So if you're someone that, you know, rides occasionally, you know, kind of on them nice days or whatever, definitely gonna get the job done. If you're someone that's out a couple times a week, every weekend, something like that, you know, there's some better options that are more well-built and everything, but, for, you know, the job that this has to do, it does really good at it. So, with that said, you know, it's going to be a really simple way. How it's going to work is it is going to have a frame hook up here. more

So first impressions of the rack on the back of the Escalade is I think it looks really good. Actually two outs are very well-built and, you know, put together very nicely. And I feel like that's really important, especially on the back of a vehicle like the Cadillac, you know, you don't want to have a super nice truck and some flimsy cheap bike rack hanging off the back of it. But that said, one of the really neat things about this one is it's it's you kind of customize it if you will. So it's available in three different colors, so you can kind of pick which one you like the best or which one matches the Escalade. more

Tooley makes really high quality stuff and it shows and I feel like that's really important, especially on the back of a car like the Cadillac, you don't want a cheap, poorly made rack on the back of the car. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Cadillac Escalade- Video

Hey everybody, Jerry with etrailer.com. Today, I want to look at the Kuat Sherpa, 2.0 2-bike rack system. Right off the bat, first thing I noticed is the fact that this looks pretty slick on our 2020 Escalade. It's really, really sharp, right Also, what I like is the fact that this is wheel mounted. So, we can get most of our carbon frame bikes on here, and a lot of our other bikes that max out around 40 pounds. All right, so this bike is held on this bike rack by the back strap over here, which is a normal ratchet style strap. more

Now taking a look, we do have a nice platform rack with us today and with the frame contact here, unfortunately, if you're looking a way of getting those carbon frames to the bike trails with you this will not be a great option as we do have frame contact and that can lead to deteriorating our carbon frames. more

Hollywood Racks Road Runner Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Cadillac Escalade- Video

Hey, everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby, and today, we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Road Runner four-bike carrier on our 2020 Cadillac Escalade. As you can see, we do have a dual arm support hanging-style bike rack with us today. So if you're looking a way of getting those carbon frame bikes to your destination, unfortunately, this won't be the option for you as we do have multiple frame contacts. So any frame contact will deteriorate that carbon frame bike. Combined with this dual arm support system though, we are getting a lot of, we mentioned there's three points of contact, that's gonna reduce our sway to our right and our left, as well as reducing our sway as our bikes are in together, and that's actually a great aspect of this bike that, bike rack, that we'll get into later. more
